Rainwater harvesting

Rainwater on house roof

At least 35% of a households' water consumption could be saved by flushing with harvested rainwater

How it works

Rainwater harvesting is a great way to save water and re-use water that would otherwise go down the drain.

A simple water butt in you garden can provide free water for watering your garden, houseplants or washing your car.

How it works

Larger holding tanks either underground or above ground harvest the rainwater again from roofs, filter out the leaves and debris, stores in the tank and then draws the water through a series of filters to provide water to washing machines and toilets.

Constant supply of water is maintained to the property if the stored water is not available by automatically switching to mains water.
