Lifestyle
Mr and Mrs S live in a detached Victorian property in a village on the outskirts of Worcester.
Energy usage
The property originally used oil for their heating system and the family decided they wanted to see how renewable technology could integrate or indeed stand alone in their property.
Their first improvement was adding Greenskies solar panels to their Greenstar condensing oil boiler. From there Greenstore ground source heat pump was installed using two different collector methods (looped and compact). This installation is now used by Worcester's training team and the property is equipped specifically for installers, specifiers and other domestic heating and hot water industry professionals with use of its own Renewable Technology Training Pavilion. The most recent addition to this property is an air source heat pump which will convert the air outside into useable heat.
A FREE DVD showing the installation of the ground source heat pump is available. To order your copy, please call our Literature Line on 01905 752556 and quote part number 8 716 112 668
